It was in 2018 that thirteen owners of private historical residences located in and around the Bergamo region decided to collaborate together for a series of cultural ventures. We decided to open up our family- and privately-owned homes to the public for guided tours on Sundays during the months of April and May, heralding the introduction of the \u201cSunday Visits at Villas, Palaces and Castles\u201d initiative. Our numbers have increased since 2022, when we decided to include some residences from neighbouring provinces. There are now eighteen in total: fourteen in the Bergamo area, three around Brescia and one in Lecco. After the resounding success of the previous years, 2026 sees the advent of our ninth anniversary! We will be proposing a rich calendar of events, organising visits on nine separate Sundays, 5 in May and 4 in October.<\/p>\n

In the majority of cases, it will be the owners themselves who will accompany you on a visit that will take you back in time to discover the history of the many generations who have dwelled in their homes. It is possible to have the Historic Homes Passport, visitors will be able to collect stamps at each of the homes they visit and will receive a special gift from us upon completing their collection!<\/p>\n
